Who We Are

We are real people

Calvary Way Church is a body of real people infused with dynamic faith, committed to a common vision, joined together in the covenant love of God. We firmly believe that you should come as you are to Jesus, for He is capable of transforming a broken and contrite heart into a blooming soul that brings Him joy.

You are welcome to come "all dressed up" or wear everyday attire. We just ask you to come expecting to be loved to life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." - John 15:9-13

we used to be completely broken

We used to be broken, but now we are grateful for undeserved redemption, astonished by amazing Grace, healed by forgiveness, humbled by the divine invitation to be included in the greatest cause on earth. The realization of this truth is what inspires us to worship the Lord for He is worthy of all our praise.

we serve the perfect god

We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling and our lives are His vessels. We have compassion for the poor and our hearts are open to the rich. We believe God wants to proper those who believe and are generous for his purpose.

There are many ways to get involved with serving at Calvary Way. Whether you give financially, or give your time, gifts, and talents, we encourage you to be generous and spread the Word of God in every way you can.

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without watering; (for He is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." - Hebrews 10:23-25

Where we came from

In 1983, a building was purchased from the Pentecostal Church of God on the east side of Prague, OK. The new church was named Calvary Way and was lead by Pastor Starland Davis Sr. and his wife, Nancy.  Pastor Starland Sr. went home to be with the Lord in January 2021.

Calvary Way Church is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of God.
